1994	Publisafe was established to provide technology consulting and software development services to Fortune 500 clients. The company successfully completed custom development projects with Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, R.R. Donnelley, Lucent Technologies, and other clients.
1999	The company entered into a consulting agreement with Lucent Technologies, Inc. to provide development services to Lucent's Public Safety Systems division, and worked for two years on a number of public safety solutions, primarily the company's computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and records management system (RMS) products.
2001	Publisafe acquired the assets of Lucent Technologies' Public Safety Systems business, including the rights to Computer-Aid Dispatch (CAD) software and Records Management System (RMS) and other related software. The acquisition was a result of the company's successful support of the CAD and RMS lines of business, and represented a complete repositioning of the company. As part of the transaction, the company acquired several contracts with customers in California, Connecticut, South Carolina, Michigan, Nevada, and Idaho. These and other customers now serve as references for Publisafe, and can testify to our focus on customer support and working together with agencies as partners.
2002	Publisafe started a process of significant changes and new additions to our feature-rich and industry-tested products, largely in anticipation of Homeland Security-driven requirements in public safety, to help our customers position themselves at the leading edge.
2004	Publisafe releases 311Reports™, a non-emergency information processing platform. It complements phone-based non-emergency operations, and provides an alternative channel for citizens to communicate with the municipal authorities and police departments. It helps police departments and municipalities to process information efficiently, and also allows PSAPs to direct non-emergency information to the appropriate agencies.
